Data & Account Deletion

Clocky has no user accounts. Here is how to remove your data and exercise your deletion rights.

1. No account to delete

Clocky does not ask you to register. Your alarms, settings, streaks and Pomodoro data exist only on your device, so there is no Clocky account or profile on our servers to delete.

2. Delete data on your device

  1. Clear app data: Android Settings → Apps → Clocky → Storage → Clear data. Removes alarms, settings and history but keeps the app installed.
  2. Uninstall: removes the app and all its local data. Custom audio files you picked remain in your own storage; delete them there if you wish.

3. Reset identifiers

  • Uninstalling or clearing app data resets the Firebase app-instance ID, which is how analytics and crash data are tied to an installation. New activity is then unrelated to the old ID.
  • Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

4. Ask us to delete data we hold

To request deletion (or access, correction or any other right), email support@glitgrace.in with the subject “Data deletion request – Clocky”. Include the email address you used to contact support. If you want us to look for analytics or crash data, tell us your device model, the dates you used Clocky and, if known, the Firebase app-instance ID. We will:

  • acknowledge your request within 3 business days
  • verify your identity if needed to protect your data
  • delete or anonymise the data we can link to you and confirm in writing, usually within 30 days (sooner where required by law)
  • tell you honestly if data cannot be linked to you and therefore cannot be identified

5. What we delete

  • Support correspondence and any information you sent us
  • Analytics, crash or messaging identifiers we can associate with you
  • Any other personal data we hold under our control

Data held independently by Google, Meta or Google Play is governed by their own policies; we will help point you to their tools (for example, Google Data & privacy).

6. What we may keep

  • Purchase, tax and accounting records we must keep by law
  • Aggregated or anonymised data that cannot identify you
  • Information needed to establish or defend legal claims or prevent fraud

7. Subscriptions

Deleting data or uninstalling does not cancel Clocky Pro. Cancel in Google Play first to avoid further charges: how to cancel.
